ST29-SW Auger sampler
These simple sampling systems allow continuous, representative and reproducible sampling of any amount of accumulating, sliding or free-falling solids with particle sizes <4mm. after sampling, the sample falls into any collection system which is attached to the ejection nozzle with a 1.5" triclamp connection. the device is characterized by its uncomplicated installation and reliable functionality. the sample quantity can be freely determined via the actuation time. in the driven version and with appropriate control, sampling can be carried out in proportion to time, volume or event. function a stainless steel wire coil conveys the product through the extraction tube. the sample falls from the ejection nozzle into a sample vessel. the spiral is driven manually by a crank (type m), a pneumatic gear motor (type p) or a 24v electric motor (type e). product residues remaining in the housing are removed from the sampling tube by reverse gear, so that the sample is always "fresh". assembly and installation to mount the sampler, the tc flange supplied is welded into the wall of the pipe or shaft. the sampler is attached to it with a triclamp. optional a sample collection system is connected to the ejector. for pressure or vacuum applications, a shut-off device should be installed between the sampler and collection container.
