Such a unit is designed so that its chute will cover
the full range of grain sizes in the stream of
goods, the frequency of sample extraction being
controlled via a time-limit relay.
The sampler casing is a sturdy assembly of
welded sheet steel. The chute is driven by an
electric motor and worm gear unit and has radial
and thrust roller bearings.
